We are quick to think that alcohol makes you chubby, in fact there are various studies and research that support that is this just not true. Alcohol had hinder your weight loss efforts but not in an indirect way. Alcohol can’t be stored as fat, but it does slow down the fat oxidation process, which accelerates the rate dietary fat is stored as fat. Typically it is what happens when you eat everything after while drinking that does the damage.

Couple tips.

Try to drink once a week and makes your choices a dry wine or liquor with a non sugary mixer

Eat protein and good carbs that day and limit your fat intake

Dodge the kitchen when you get home. No Oreos or taco bell please
